Garcia comes out of Prior Lake, Minnesota and is currently rated as a four-star prospect and the second best player in the state by 247Sports. He is currently listed as 6-foot-10 and 210 pounds by Verbal Commits.
Along with Indiana, he also has offers from Nebraska, Ohio State, Purdue, and Wisconsin among others. His current leader in the crystal ball selections is Marquette.
