Thompson comes out of Tulsa, Oklahoma and he is currently rated as a four-star prospect and the top player in the state by 247Sports. He is currently listed as 6-foot-5 and 175 pounds by the site as well.
Along with Michigan State, he also has offers from Arkansas, Notre Dame, and Texas among others. He currently has Crystal Ball predictions for Kansas, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State.
