Local 2016 Center Joey Brunk picks up Hoosier Offer

Indiana makes offer to Indianapolis, Ind., Center Joey Brunk.

Pat Lovell-USA TODAY Sports

Indiana has offered 6'10" 2016 Center Joey Brunk from Indianapolis, IN. Brunk is the 68th rated player and 10th rated Center on the 247Sports Composite Index.  Brunk has offers from Iowa, New Mexico, Mississippi, Purdue, and Xavier to date. He has also has interest from schools such as Michigan, Notre Dame, and Penn State.

Brunk is the 20th player already offered by Tom Crean in 2016. The Hoosiers currently have four openings for that class, assuming no one on the current team leaves early for any reason.

The Hoosiers have already offered Brunk's Southport (Ind.) teammate, 2017 guard Paul Scruggs. This isn't just an offer to try and help land Scruggs, though. Brunk has big time talent and is being chased by some major programs as seen above. The Crystal Ball has Brunk at 50% Indiana and 50% Purdue, but this is only based on two predictions thus far.

Here is a recent video of Brunk's game:
