Indiana & Louisville Series to Begin?

On Coach Pitino's radio show last night, he filled all of us in on current negotiations with Indiana on plans for the two schools to play each other the next three years.

The plan would have the two schools playing in Lucas Oil next year in Indianapolis where each would split 35,000 tickets. The series would then move to The Assembly Hall the following year and then to the Yum! Center the year after that.

This appears to accomplish Indiana's goal of getting a home and home out of the deal, so it would seem likely this ends up getting accepted by Indiana. Hoosier fans have been looking for a series like this since Kentucky pulled out a few seasons ago. Can you imagine 35,000 Indiana fans and 35,000 Louisville fans in Lucas Oil? Would be a great atmosphere.
