POMJon Rothstein recently released a report indicating that Daniel Oturo has been medically cleared to participate in all basketball activities for the Minnesota Golden Gophers. Oturo will be a true freshman this season and arrived on campus with a fair bit of hype. He was a top 50 prospect on 247Sports and is listed at 6-foot-10 and 220 pounds. Most expected him to contribute as a freshman.
According to a report from Jon Rothstein, Purdue will be participating in the 2019 Emerald Coast Classic. Other teams who will be competing in the event are Florida State, Tennessee, and VCU among others. Last season, Purdue played in the Bahamas where the team beat Arizona for a key non-conference win.
