According to multiple reports, Nebraska will be missing David Rivers for their matchup with Michigan State at home. He is reportedly missing the game due to knee injury. Rivers has a 114.6 offensive rating this season and has played at least 24 minutes in 5 of Nebraska's 6 Big Ten games this season. A further report indicated that Rivers would be out 1-2 weeks.
Bo Ryan and the Badgers were in to watch a 2016 prospect in the form of Maverick Rowan. He is rated as the #1 prospect out of Florida and is also receiving heavy attention from Florida and Louisville.
According to 247Sports' Jerry Meyer, the Terps were in to see a 4-star shooting guard out of Texas in the form of Maurice O'Field. He is rated as the #11 player in the state of Texas. Arizona State, Baylor, and Virginia Tech are interested among others.
Rutgers will be missing Junior Etou when they travel to face Penn State on Saturday. He reportedly violated team rules and Eddie Jordan decided not to take him. Etou has played in every game for Rutgers this season. He has a 92.5 offensive rating this season and though he went scoreless against Michigan, he had 9 points and 10 rebounds against Minnesota.
Big news for the Hoosiers as it appears that Hanner Mosquera-Perea will be returning to to the team sometime in mid-February. Mosquera-Perea suffered a knee injury and has not played since Indiana's game against Ohio State.

Michigan head coach John Beilein recently updated the health status of the Wolverines and provided that just sophomore point guard Derrick Walton, Jr. is limited at this time. A significant portion of the team was limited by either illness or injury in the past few weeks, so this is a big break for Michigan. Freshman DJ Wilson is also practicing with the team again. He sat out most of the year so far due to injury.
The Illini are currently reeling from an unfortunate string of injuries that have plagued them from the start of the season. Now, in a move to ensure they have adequate depth for their game against Minnesota, Illinois announced that student manager David Schmidt would be dressing for the team's game against Minnesota. Certainly a really cool moment for David.

Benson has the exact skill set that Illinois is missing this season, a back to the basket big man that can play through contact for easy baskets. Illinois has been out Hinsdale South to see a number of games this season already, and look for the staff to step up their effort, now that have found a desired center that fits their system.
