The 2023 NBA Draft took place last night and the Big Ten saw eight players selected in this years draft. Overall there were five players from the conference selected in the first round and three selected in the second round. You can see the list of players selected below:

- Rd. 1 Pk. 15 Kobe Bufkin (Michigan) - Atlanta Hawks
- Rd. 1 Pk. 17 Jalen Hood-Schifino (Indiana) - Los Angeles Lakers
- Rd. 1 Pk. 23 Kris Murray (Iowa) - Portland Trail Blazers
- Rd. 1 Pk. 28 Brice Sensabaugh (Ohio State) - Utah Jazz
- Rd. 2 Pk. 32 Jalen Pickett (Penn State) - Indiana Pacers (traded to Denver Nuggets)
- Rd. 2 Pk. 46 Seth Lundy (Penn State) - Atlanta Hawks
- Rd. 2 Pk. 57 Trayce Jackson-Davis (Indiana) - Washington Wizards (traded to Golden State Warriors)
This is the fourth time since 2000 that the Big Ten has produced eight draft picks, previously doing so in 2000, 2018 and 2022. For the first time since 2014 the Big Ten had five players selected in the first round. The only conference to have more players selected in the draft and first round was the SEC, with 10 picks and six first round selections. The Big Ten has extended its streak of at least one first round selection to 48 years.
