Purdue men’s basketball landed a commitment from Daniel Jacobsen, a four-star 7’3” center in the class of 2024, on Friday evening.

Purdue has an especially recent track record of success with centers such as reigning National Player of the Year Zach Edey, Isaac Haas, Matt Haarms and others. As for Jacobsen, he’s currently rated as the No. 137 overall prospect and No. 26 center in the class of 2024.
Others that were in on his recruitment included Minnesota, Clemson, Creighton and Wisconsin, with the Badgers being seen as the biggest threat to land his signature and the leader among contenders until quite recently.
Purdue is among the favorites to win the 2024 national championship.
