Earlier this month, the Minnesota Golden Gophers put out a key offer in the 2024 recruiting cycle to 2024 prospect Jack Robison. This figures to be a key recruiting cycle for new head coach Ben Johnson and his staff.
Very thankful and honored to receive an offer from the University of Minnesota! Thank you Coach Johnson, Coach Thorson and staff! #SkiUMah @PulleyHoops @LNHoopsOx pic.twitter.com/gIL0XYERp3

Robison comes out of Lakeville, Minnesota and is currently unranked as a prospect by 247Sports. However, the recruiting site lists him at 6-foot-5 and 175 pounds and he appears to be one of the rising players in the cycle. Along with Minnesota, he also has an offer from Wisconsin among others.
Minnesota currently has no commitments in its 2024 recruiting class, but that isn’t surprising given the general timeline of a class. However, Johnson and staff have been really active so far and it seems reasonable to think they’ll try to make a splash there. Of course, we’ll have to wait and see as there’s still plenty of time left ahead of him. It should be interesting to watch his recruitment in the coming years.
