Last month, the Penn State Nittany Lions put out a key offer in the 2022 recruiting cycle. New Head Coach Micah Shrewsberry and his new staff decided to offer 2022 prospect Robert Jennings.

Jennings comes out of DeSoto, Texas and is currently rated as a three-star prospect and a top 25 player in the State of Texas by 247Sports. However, he’s starting to get some serious attention from a number of high profile programs. The recruiting site lists him at 6-foot-7 and 220 pounds. Along with Penn State, he also has offers from Bryant, DePaul, Houston, Texas Tech, and Wichita State among others.
Penn State currently has one commitment in its 2022 recruiting class from three-star prospect Kanye Clary. But fans will hope Shrewsberry and staff can add to that haul with a commitment from Jennings in the months to come. Of course, we will have to wait and see if that ends up happening as there’s still quite some time before Jennings has to make his decision.
