Late last month, the Rutgers Scarlet Knights put out a key offer in the 2022 recruiting cycle, which figures to be an important group for the program. Steve Pikiell and his staff decided to offer 2022 prospect Antwone Woolfolk.
After a great talk with @CoachPikiell and @tjthompsonRUMBB I’m honored to say that I received an offer from Rutgers University. @RutgersMBB @ChetMason32 @CoachJC_216 @BrushAthletics @indyheatgymrats pic.twitter.com/jsWmnbkRwV

Woolfolk comes out of Cleveland, Ohio and is listed at 6-foot-7 and 250 pounds. He is a multi-sport athlete that could end up playing football or basketball at the college level. However, his basketball pedigree is rising. Along with Rutgers, he also has offers from Cal State Bakersfield and Cleveland State among others.
Rutgers currently has two commitments in its 2022 recruiting class from three-star Braeden Moore and Derek Simpson. But fans will hope Woolfolk can join the group in the coming months. This is particularly true given the program’s recent success and upward trend on the recruiting trail over the last few years. Of course, we will have to wait and see if that ends up happening as much about Woolfolk’s recruitment is still up in the air.
