Last month, the Minnesota Golden Gophers put out a key offer in the 2022 recruiting cycle to 2022 prospect Ryan Dunn. This figures to be a key recruiting cycle for new head coach Ben Johnson and his staff.

Dunn comes out of Freeport, New York and is rated as a three-star prospect and the fifth-best player in the state by 247Sports. The recruiting site lists him at 6-foot-6 and 190 pounds and he seems to be a player on the rise. Along with Minnesota, he also has offers from schools including Oklahoma State, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, and Virginia among others.
Minnesota currently has one commitment in its 2022 recruiting class from shooting guard Braeden Carrington. However, fans will hope Johnson and his staff can add more to the mix, starting with a commitment from Dunn. Of course, we’ll have to wait and see as there’s still plenty of time left ahead of him. It should be interesting to watch his recruitment in the coming months.
