Last month, the Penn State Nittany Lions put out a key offer in the 2022 recruiting cycle. New Head Coach Micah Shrewsberry and his new staff decided to offer 2022 prospect Reed Bailey.

Bailey comes out of Groton, Massachusetts and is rated as a three-star prospect and the third-best player in the state by 247Sports. The recruiting site also lists him at 6-foot-9 and 190 pounds and as a player starting to get some serious attention. Along with Penn State, he also has an offer from Boston College, Iowa, Loyola (Chicago), and Maryland among others.
Penn State currently has one commitment in its 2022 recruiting class from three-star prospect Sonny Johnson. But fans will hope Shrewsberry and staff can add to that haul with a commitment from Bailey in the months to come. Of course, we will have to wait and see if that ends up happening as there’s still quite some time before Bailey has to make his decision.
