Late last month, the Illinois Fighting Illini put out a key offer in the 2022 recruiting cycle. Brad Underwood and his staff decided to offer 2022 prospect Braden Huff.
Northwestern has also offered 2022 6-9 Braden Huff per Illinois Wolves.

Huff comes out of Carol Stream, Illinois and is currently rated as a four-star prospect and the second-best player in the state by 247Sports. He’s been getting some serious recruiting attention and is listed at 6-foot-9 and 205 pounds by the recruiting site. Along with Illinois, he also has offers from Creighton, DePaul, Northwestern, Vanderbilt, and Virginia Tech among others.
Illinois currently has two commitments in the program’s 2022 recruiting class from four-star Sencire Harris and three-star prospect Reggie Bass. However, fans are hoping to add more to the fold, especially after two straight productive seasons in Champaign. And if Huff can get things rolling on the recruiting trail, perhaps Illinois could be in play for a great 2022 class. However, we will have to wait and see as his recruitment is still very much in the air. Underwood and his staff will have to put in some work.
