Earlier this month, the Iowa Hawkeyes put out a key offer in the 2022 recruiting cycle. Fran McCaffery and his staff decided to offer 2022 prospect Jaxon Kohler.
Blessed to receive an offer from the University of Iowa! Thank you Coach McCaffery and Coach Dillard for the opportunity! Go #Hawkeyes #iowahawkeyes pic.twitter.com/7FwA97OHTg

Kohler comes out of American Fork, Utah and is currently rated as a four-star prospect and the best player in the State of Utah by 247Sports. As such, he’s clearly a key player in the 2022 class and is listed at 6-foot-8 and 250 pounds. Along with Iowa, he also has offers from Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, USC, and Washington among others.
Iowa currently has one commitment in the program’s 2022 recruiting class from three-star guard Dasonte Bowen. But fans will hope to add more to the fold with a commitment from Kohler in the months ahead. And with McCaffery’s recent success both on the court and on the recruiting trail, there are some real reasons to be hopeful. As of now, Kohler has no Crystal Ball selections on 247Sports, which would imply his recruitment is very much open right now.
