Earlier this month, the Michigan State Spartans put out a key offer in the 2023 recruiting cycle. Tom Izzo and his staff decided to offer 2023 prospect Javonte Taylor.

Taylor comes out of Chicago, Illinois and is currently rated as a five-star prospect and the best player in the state of Illinois by 247Sports. The recruiting site also lists him at 6-foot-8 and 185 pounds. Along with Michigan State, he also currently has offers from Arizona, DePaul, Duke, Florida, Gonzaga, and Michigan among others.
Michigan State currently has no commitments in the program’s 2023 recruiting class, but the Spartans have recruited well in recent years and things are still early in the cycle. Fans will be hoping Taylor can be the first addition in the 2023 cycle. However, we will have to wait and see as his recruitment is still very much in the air and he has no Crystal Ball projections right now. Izzo and his staff will have to put in some work.
