Earlier this month, the Purdue Boilermakers put out a key offer in the 2023 recruiting cycle. Matt Painter and his staff decided to offer 2023 prospect Jeremy Fears.

Fears comes out of La Porte, Indiana and plays at La Lumiere School. He’s listed at 6-foot-1 and 165 pounds by 247Sports and rated as a four-star prospect and the best player in the state of Indiana for the 2023 cycle. Along with Purdue, he also currently has offers from Chicago State, Creighton, DePaul, Gonzaga, and Indiana among others.
Purdue currently has no commitments in its 2023 recruiting class, but that will likely change in the coming months. Fans will hope Fears can be the first piece and continue Purdue’s recent momentum on the recruiting trail after solid success in 2021 and 2022. However, we will have to wait and see as it’s still very much in the air. He currently has no Crystal Ball selections on 247Sports.
