Late last month, the Maryland Terrapins put out a key offer in the 2022 recruiting cycle. Mark Turgeon and his staff decided to offer 2022 prospect Will Richardson.

Richardson comes out of Oradell, New Jersey and is currently rated as a four-star prospect and the second-best player in the state by 247Sports. The site also lists him at 6-foot-2 and 160 pounds and as a rising player in the 2022 class. Along with Maryland, he also has offers from Columbia, Marquette, UMass, and Vanderbilt among others.

Maryland currently has one commitment in the program’s 2022 recruiting class from three-star prospect Paul Lewis. As such, fans will be hoping Richardson can keep building things for Turgeon and his staff in the 2022 cycle. However, there’s still a long way to go as he’s a 2022 prospect and currently has no Crystal Ball selections on 247Sports. It should be interesting to follow.
