Late last month, the Penn State Nittany Lions put out a key offer in the 2022 recruiting cycle. New Head Coach Micah Shrewsberry and his new staff decided to offer 2022 prospect Cam Whitmore.

Whitmore comes out of Severn, Maryland and is rated as a four-star prospect and the fifth-best player in the state by 247Sports. The recruiting site also lists him at 6-foot-6 and 200 pounds and as a rising star in the 2022 recruiting cycle. Along with Penn State, he also currently has offers from Bryant, Creighton, Florida, Maryland, and UConn among others.
Penn State currently has no commitments in its 2022 recruiting class after the recent coaching change. As such, fans will be hoping Whitmore can get things restarted with a bang. Of course, we will have to wait and see if that ends up happening as there’s still quite some time before Whitmore has to make his decision. He currently has no Crystal Ball selection on 247Sports.
