Earlier this month, the Minnesota Golden Gophers put out a key offer in the 2024 recruiting cycle to 2024 prospect Mercy Miller. This figures to be a key recruiting cycle for new head coach Ben Johnson and his staff.
Mercy Miller just opened the game up with three straight triples (20-12 Redhawks ahead). The 6'3 freshman was offered by Minnesota yesterday. #MNStateHoops21

Miller comes out of Minneapolis, Minnesota and is currently unrated by 247Sports. However, he’s starting to get some serious attention from a number of high profile programs. The recruiting site lists Miller at 6-foot-4 and 170 pounds. Along with Minnesota, he also has offers from Hampton and Missouri among others.
Minnesota currently has no commitments in its 2024 recruiting class, but don’t expect it to stay that way for too long. Johnson and staff have been really active so far and it seems reasonable to think they’ll try to make a splash there. Of course, we’ll have to wait and see as there’s still plenty of time left ahead of him. It should be interesting to watch his recruitment in the coming years.
