Earlier this month, the Penn State Nittany Lions put out a key offer in the 2022 recruiting cycle. New Head Coach Micah Shrewsberry and his new staff decided to offer 2022 prospect Christian Watson.
Penn State just offered 2022 prospect and St. John’s wing Christian Watson, he told @Stockrisers. Will officially visit Xavier’s campus in June, also working on an unofficial to Pitt.

Watson comes out of Long Beach, California and is rated as a three-star prospect and the 22nd-best player in the state by 247Sports. The recruiting site also lists him at 6-foot-4 and 150 pounds and as a rising star in the 2022 recruiting cycle. Along with Penn State, he also currently has offers from Howard, LSU, Providence, and Rhode Island among others.
Penn State currently has one commitment in its 2022 recruiting class from three-star prospect Sonny Johnson. But fans will hope Shrewsberry and staff can add to that haul with Watson in the months to come. Of course, we will have to wait and see if that ends up happening as there’s still quite some time before Watson has to make his decision.
