Earlier this month, the Penn State Nittany Lions put out a key offer in the 2022 recruiting cycle. New Head Coach Micah Shrewsberry and his new staff decided to offer 2022 prospect Denver Anglin.
Blessed to receive an offer from Penn State University!!!! pic.twitter.com/sliBBnitl5— Denver Anglin (@AnglinDenver) May 13, 2021
Anglin comes out of Montclair, New Jersey and is rated as a three-star prospect and the seventh-best player in the state by 247Sports. The recruiting site also lists him at 6-foot-2 and 165 pounds and as a rising star in the 2022 recruiting cycle. Along with Penn State, he also currently has offers from Georgetown, Providence, Seton Hall, Stanford, and UConn among others.
Penn State currently has one commitment in its 2022 recruiting class from three-star prospect Sonny Johnson. But fans will hope Shrewsberry and staff can add to that haul with Anglin in the months to come. Of course, we will have to wait and see if that ends up happening as there’s still quite some time before Anglin has to make his decision.
