Earlier this month, the Nebraska Cornhuskers got some exciting news as the program learned that 2021 prospect Oleg Kojenets would be committing to the program. The exciting development came as the Huskers hope to make progress with head coach Fred Hoiberg moving forward.

Kojenets is listed at 6-foot-10 and 215 pounds by 247Sports and should be one of the more intriguing prospects in the 2021 recruiting class. He originally comes out of Lithuania and has been playing in Ohio. Along with Nebraska, he also had an offer from Georgia Tech among others.
He marks the fourth member of Nebraska’s 2021 recruiting class and the fifth player set to join the roster for next season, along with Xavier transfer CJ Wilcher. However, expect Hoiberg and his staff to remain active on the recruiting trail. We’ll have to wait and see what kind of mark Kojenets can make in Lincoln next season and beyond.
