Earlier this week, Iowa fans got some exciting news as 2022 prospect Riley Mulvey announced that he would be committing to the Iowa Hawkeyes. This is great news for head coach Fran McCaffery and his staff.
#Iowa is on the board in the 2022 class as it has landed a commitment from three-star center Riley Mulvey, a top target on the board for the #Hawkeyes.

Mulvey comes out of Albany, New York and is currently rated as a three-star prospect and the second-best player in the state by 247Sports. He is currently listed as 6-foot-11 and 230 pounds by the recruiting site. Along with Iowa, he had offers from Albany, Bryant, Penn State, and UMass among others.
Iowa currently has no other commitments in its 2022 recruiting class. However, Mulvey is currently enough to push the class into the top 20 nationally and fans will hope McCaffery and his staff can keep things rolling. Of course, there’s still a long way to go.
There’s little debating that Mulvey will arrive with a solid pedigree and be projected to be a solid contributor in the Big Ten moving forward. McCaffery and fans will have to be excited about that moving forward.
