Late last month, the Michigan Wolverines put out a key offer in the 2022 recruiting cycle. Juwan Howard and his new staff staff decided to offer 2022 prospect Donovan Clingan.

Clingan comes out of Bristol, Connecticut and is currently rated as a four-star prospect and the top player in the state by 247Sports. The recruiting site also lists him at 7-foot-1 and 255 pounds and he clearly appears to be one of the top prospects in the region. Along with Michigan, he also currently has offers from Boston College, Georgetown, Iowa, Maryland, Ohio State, and UConn among others.
Michigan currently has no commitments in the program’s 2022 recruiting class, though the program has recruited really well in recent years. However, fans will hope Clingan can get things started in 2022 and give Howard and staff a dynamic group to build with moving forward. Of course, there’s still a long way to go as Clingan currently has no Crystal Ball selections on 247Sports.
