Gunn comes out of Indianapolis, Indiana and is currently rated as a four-star prospect and as the fourth-best player in the state by 247Sports. He is currently listed as 6-foot-5 and 175 pounds by the recruiting site. Along with Indiana, he had offers from Cincinnati, Kansas State, Missouri, and Xavier among others.
Perhaps the strongest part of Gunn’s game is his athleticism. He does work on the boards and can drive the hoop effectively. This should be a welcome boost for Indiana, who’s shown plenty of inconsistency on the offensive side of the court. Hoosier fans will hope he can hit the ground running when he arrives on campus.
With his addition, Indiana’s 2022 recruiting class is now ranked 10th nationally. Gunn is presently the only commitment in the class. Fans have to be excited about how the class could look in the months ahead.
