Last month, the Ohio State Buckeyes put out a key offer in the 2023 recruiting cycle. Chris Holtmann and his staff decided to offer 2023 prospect Scotty Middleton.

Middleton comes out of Wichita, Kansas and is currently rated as a four-star and one of the best players in the State of Kansas by 247Sports. The recruiting site also lists him at 6-foot-6 and 180 pounds and identifies him as a quickly rising player. Along with Ohio State, he also currently has offers from Bryant, DePaul, Kansas State, Nebraska, and Oklahoma State among others.
Ohio State currently has no commitments in the program’s 2023 recruiting class, though that isn’t surprising given the timeline of most 2023 recruits and some of the changes in the transfer market. But fans will hope the Buckeyes can get things started with a commitment from Middleton. However, we will have to wait and see as it’s still very much in the air. He currently has no Crystal Ball predictions on 247Sports.
