Late last month, the Nebraska Cornhuskers put out a key offer in the 2022 recruiting cycle. Fred Hoiberg and his new staff decided to offer 2022 prospect Ramel Lloyd.

Lloyd comes out of Temecula, California and is rated as a four-star prospect and the 65th best player in the 2022 class by 247Sports. The recruiting site also lists him at 6-foot-6 and 190 pounds and as one of the more intriguing players in the class. Along with Nebraska, he also has offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Arkansas, Baylor, and Dayton among others.
Nebraska currently has no commitments in its 2022 recruiting class. However, with so many open roster spots in the years to come and a high-profile coach like Fred Hoiberg, Nebraska could really put together a decent 2022 class moving forward. We will have to see if the Huskers can close the deal. Of course, as a 2022 prospect, there’s still quite a long way to go before fans will have an answer.
