Indiana, Iowa, and Michigan Split Week Seven Big Ten Honors

Three teams earned Big Ten weekly awards.

NCAA Basketball: Indiana at Nebraska Steven Branscombe-USA TODAY Sports

The Big Ten released its weekly award winners for week seven of the regular season and three teams split the awards. Indiana’s Trayce Jackson-Davis and Iowa’s Jordan Bohannon were named Co-Big Ten Players of the Week and Michigan’s Hunter Dickinson was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week.

Jackson-Davis had a fantastic performance this week. The Hoosier big man posted three double-doubles and averaged 20.0 points, 12.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 2.0 blocks this week against Maryland, Wisconsin, and Nebraska. This is the second time he’s earned Player of the Week honors during his career. Bohannon also had quite a week, averaging 18.5 points, 8.0 assists, and 5.5 rebounds, per game. This is actually the first time Bohannon has earned Player of the Week honors during his career.

Meanwhile, Dickinson continued his impressive run for the Wolverines this season. He scored 28 points in Michigan’s only game last week, helping the team improve to 10-0 on the year with a blowout win over a ranked Minnesota team. This is already the fifth time Dickinson has been named Big Ten Freshman of the Week during his career. However, it doesn’t seem like it will be the last.

Congratulations are in order for all three players. Don’t be surprised if these three show back up on this list given how they have played to date.
