Earlier this month, the Michigan State Spartans put out a key offer in the 2022 recruiting cycle. Tom Izzo and his staff decided to offer 2022 prospect Tarris Reed.
Blessed and honored to have received an offer from Michigan State University !! ⚪️ To God Be the Glory❤️ #GoSpartans @CCPBasketball @MokanBasketball @CoachGarlandMSU @DjStephens31 @tomizzo @CoachDaneFife @MSU_Basketball pic.twitter.com/bED98u7cEx

Reed comes out of St. Louis, Missouri and is rated as a four-star prospect and the top player in the state by 247Sports. The recruiting site also lists him at 6-foot-10 and 230 pounds. Along with Michigan State, he also currently has offers from Creighton, Kansas State, Missouri, and Saint Louis among others.
Michigan State already has loaded 2022 recruiting class, highlighted by the nation’s overall to prospect in Emoni Bates. A commitment from Reed would only further elevate that status and would likely lock up the nation’s top class more than a year away from when players would arrive on campus. As of now, Reed has no Crystal Ball selections on 247Sports, which would imply his recruitment is very much open right now.
