Late last month, the Penn State Nittany Lions put out a key offer in the 2022 recruiting cycle. Pat Chambers and his new staff decided to offer 2022 prospect JJ Starling.

Starling comes out of Baldwinsville, New York and is rated as a four-star prospect and the second-best player in the state by 247Sports. The recruiting site lists him at 6-foot-0 and 150 pounds and he clearly appears to be one of the better players in the 2022 cycle. Along with Penn State, he also currently has offers from Alabama, Siena, St. John’s, and Syracuse among others.
Penn State currently has one commitment in its 2022 recruiting class from three-star prospect Sonny Johnson. But fans will hope Chambers and staff can add to that haul with Starling in the months to come. Of course, we will have to wait and see if that ends up happening. Starling currently has no Crystal Ball selections on 247Sports.
