Earlier this month, the Indiana Hoosiers put out a key offer in the 2022 recruiting cycle. Archie Miller and his new staff decided to offer 2022 prospect Jalen Hood-Schifino.

Hood-Schifino comes out of Montverde, Florida and is rated as a four-star prospect and the eighth-best player in the state by 247Sports. The recruiting site lists him at 6-foot-4 and 185 pounds and he clearly appears to be one of the better players in the 2022 cycle. Along with Indiana, he also currently has offers from Charlotte, Clemson, Florida, Kansas, and Pittsburgh among others.
Indiana currently has no commitments in its 2022 recruiting class. As such, fans will be hoping Hood-Schifino will change that with a commitment in the coming months. This is particularly true given some of the high-profile additions Indiana projects to make in the 2020 and 2021 classes. Of course, we will have to wait and see if that ends up happening. Hood-Schifino currently has no Crystal Ball selections on 247Sports.
