Earlier this month, the Michigan Wolverines put out a key offer in the 2021 recruiting cycle. Juwan Howard and his new staff staff decided to offer 2021 prospect Carter Whitt.

Whitt comes out of Raleigh, North Carolina and is rated as a four-star prospect and the fourth-best player in the state by 247Sports. The recruiting site also lists him at 6-foot-3 and 170 pounds. Along with Michigan, he also currently has offers from Alabama, Boston College, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest among others.
Michigan currently has three commitments in the program’s 2021 recruiting class, which is ranked seventh nationally. Adding a prospect like Whitt would likely push Michigan into the top five and give Howard and staff a dynamic group to build with moving forward. Fans will hope Whitt will be the fourth addition for the Wolverines in the 2021 cycle. He currently has no Crystal Ball selections on 247Sports.
