Former Indiana guard Devonte Green recently signed his first pro contract this past weekend when it was announced he signed with Trikoupis BC of the Greece A1 League.

Devonte Green spent four seasons playing in Bloomington and finished 55th in career scoring for the Hoosiers while earning his degree this past May. In his senior season Green averaged 10.8 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game in 22.1 minutes per outing. He was also a career 37.7% three point shooter while hitting 71.3% of his free throws.
“With COVID circumstances and the uncertainty of the NBA / G-league season, going overseas is the best opportunity for me to stay active and showcase my talent,” Green said in a release posted by the school. “So when the NBA/G-league starts back up, I’ll have the option to come back to play professionally in America. I’ll keep chasing my dream until the wheels fall off.”
Green is the younger brother of Los Angeles Lakers guard Danny Green and second cousin of Gerald Green.
