Earlier this month, the Maryland Terrapins put out a key offer in the 2021 recruiting cycle. Mark Turgeon and his staff decided to offer 2021 prospect Taine Murray.

Murray comes out of New Zealand and is currently unrated by 247Sports. The recruiting site also lists him at 6-foot-5 and 190 pounds. Along with Maryland, he also currently has offers from California, Colorado, Creighton, and Purdue among others.
Maryland currently has two commitments in its 2021 recruiting class from four-stars Ike Cornish and Julian Reese. The class is ranked 18th nationally and fans hope Murray can bump things up even further. He currently has no Crystal Ball selections, but did recently announce his top three schools, which were Maryland, Stanford, and Virginia. We will have to see if the Terps can close the deal.
