Earlier this month, the Iowa Hawkeyes put out a key offer in the 2023 recruiting cycle. Fran McCaffery and his staff decided to offer 2023 prospect Taison Chatman.

Chatman comes out of Fridley, Minnesota and projects as one of the better players in the state for the 2023 recruiting cycle. Verbal Commits lists him at 6-foot-3 and 160 pounds. Along with Iowa, he also already has offers from Marquette and Minnesota among others.
Iowa currently has no commitments in the program’s 2023 recruiting class, but fans hope that will change soon. Perhaps Chatman can be the first addition for McCaffery and staff.
