Earlier this month, the Purdue Boilermakers put out a key offer in the 2021 recruiting cycle. Matt Painter and his staff decided to offer 2021 international prospect Taine Murray.

Murray comes out of New Zealand and is currently unrated by 247Sports. The recruiting site also lists him at 6-foot-5 and 190 pounds. Along with Purdue, he also currently has offers from California, Colorado, Creighton, and Maryland among others.

Purdue currently has one commitment in its 2021 recruiting class from four-star forward Caleb Furst. The class is ranked 31st nationally with Furst in the fold and fans hope Murray can bump the class up even further. He currently has no Crystal Ball selection, but did recently announce his top three schools, which were Maryland, Stanford, and Virginia. We will have to see if the Purdue offer shakes that up.
