Earlier this month, the Illinois Fighting Illini put out a key offer in the 2022 recruiting cycle. Brad Underwood and his staff decided to offer 2022 prospect Cason Wallace.

Wallace comes out of Richardson, Texas and is currently rated as a four-star prospect and the eighth-best player in the state by by 247Sports. The recruiting site also lists him at 6-foot-4 and 180 pounds. Along with Illinois, he also currently has offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Baylor, Creighton, and DePaul among others.
Illinois currently has no commitments in the program’s 2022 recruiting class. As such, fans will be hoping Wallace can start things off for Underwood and his staff in the 2022 cycle. He currently has no Crystal Ball selections on 247Sports.
