Earlier this week, the Penn State Nittany Lions got some exciting news as 2021 prospect Elijah Hutchins-Everett announced that he would be committing to the program. The exciting development comes as Pat Chambers hopes to build on last season.

Hutchins-Everett is listed at 6-foot-10 and 225 pounds by 247Sports and comes out of Orange, New Jersey. Along with Penn State, he also had offers from programs including DePaul, Miami (FL), Minnesota, Seton Hall, and Rutgers among others. He is currently rated as a three-star and the second-best player in New Jersey by 247Sports.
Following some roster attrition, Penn State desperately needed to help its depth upfront and Hutchins-Everett will do just that. He will join Houston Mallette and TaQuan Woodley in Penn State’s 2021 recruiting class, which is now ranked 25th nationally.
Chambers and his staff still have their work cut out for the 2021 class, but Nittany Lion fans have to be excited about bringing Hutchins-Everett into the fold.
