In 2014, Jonathan Mugar came up with the idea to run an annual basketball tournament in the summer where anyone could compete for prize money. The event became known as The Basketball Tournament and has been a lot of fun in the years to follow. It’s also become a great spot for college basketball alums to suit up again who aren’t quite good enough to stick in the NBA.
And with this year’s event starting on July 4th, it seemed like a good time to do a breakdown on all the former Big Ten players participating. So, let’s get to it.
