Earlier this week, the Maryland Terrapins got some good news as the program learned international big man Arnaud Revaz would be joining the roster next season. He comes out of Switzerland and should help provide some depth upfront as the Terps prepare for a big of a transitional season.

Revaz comes out of Swiss club JL Bourg and is listed at 6-foot-10. He averaged 9.6 points and 55. rebounds at the U-18 European championships in 2018 and received plenty of attention state-side, with UCLA also courting the big man.
It’s unclear how ready Revaz will be to contribute next season, but with Bruno Fernando and Jalen Smith going pro the last two years and the Mitchell brothers transferring, there’s a huge hole for Maryland upfront. If Revaz can even fill in for 10 minutes a game, it would be a huge boost for the team’s chances next year. And while no one can be sure how Revaz will progress once he arrives at Maryland, Terp fans should be excited about adding another talented piece to the roster.
