Illinois guard Tyler Underwood confirmed this week that he received a sixth year of eligibility from the NCAA and will return for the 2020-21 season.

Underwood is the son of head coach Brad Underwood and has bounced around to follow his dad, formerly being on both Stephen F. Austin and Oklahoma State.
Last season Underwood averaged 0.6 points and 0.4 assists per game in limited action. The senior played in 14 games, starting one, and had a season high six points against Hampton.
