The Maryland Terrapin basketball program on July 17th announced the addition of three preferred walk-ons for the 2020-’21 season.
The walk-ons are Aidan McCool (guard, 6-foot-3), Jade Brahmbhatt (guard, 6-foot), and Connor Odom (guard, 5-foot-11).
McCool is a freshman from Charleston, South Carolina. Over his career at Bishop England High School. McCool scored over 1,000 points.
Brahmbhatt is a junior transferring from Pacific University. He is originally from Olney, MD.
Odom is the son of UMBC head coach Ryan Odom. The elder Odom led the Retrievers over Virginia in the 2018 NCAA Tournament as the first 16-seed over a 1-seed. Connor will be a freshman next season and spent time in high school at the highly regarded Oak Hill Academy.
