Michigan coach Juwan Howard announced a few weeks ago that center Austin Davis is recovering from off-season shoulder surgery.
The fifth-year fan favorite is expected to begin recovery at home in Onstead, Michigan and potentially should be ready for October practice.
Davis, who averaged 4.9 points and 2.6 rebounds in ten minutes of play, injured the shoulder in a February 8th game against Michigan State. Davis would play through pain in the shoulder the remainder of the season.
Coach Howard tweeted out his support for Davis shortly after the surgery occurred.
While this is never the answer we want ... we wish Big Country a speed recovery.
