With everything ongoing pertaining to coronavirus it has led to some questions on if upcoming fall and winter sports will proceed as planned. While college football has more uncertainty, there hasn’t been any major indications that the upcoming college basketball season could be in jeopardy.
Another potentially good sign is that sources have revealed that all eight teams set to participate in the 2020 Battle 4 Atlantis are still planning to proceed with the event, which is set to take play November 25-27.
Sources: The teams slated to participate in the 2020 Battle 4 Atlantis are currently still proceeding on schedule with the event despite the current circumstances in the world.

2020 Field:
Duke
Creighton
Ohio State
Memphis
West Virginia
Wichita State
Utah
Texas A&M
This is notable as Michigan and Kentucky just delayed their upcoming series, which had the first of three games set to take place this year in London. While the basketball season may go on as planned it does appear teams will be more hesitant when it comes to traveling, especially if it involves leaving the country.
The 2020 field includes one Big Ten team in the men’s bracket, with that team being Ohio State. The event also added a women’s tournament this year with Minnesota set to participate. Last year Michigan played in the event and took him the title after beating Iowa State, North Carolina and Gonzaga.
This will be Ohio State’s first year participating in the annual event. Battle 4 Atlantis takes place in the Bahamas and is always an entertaining watch as it literally takes place in a grand ballroom that is converted into a basketball venue for the event.
