Earlier this week, the Ohio State Buckeyes got some exciting news as 2022 prospect Bowen Hardman announced that he would be committing to the program. The exciting development comes as Chris Holtmann and the Buckeyes prepare to enter a key season in Columbus, as Holtmann and staff hope to build on the last few years.
Hardman is listed as 6-foot-3 and 160 pounds by 247Sports and comes out of Cincinnati, Ohio. Along with Ohio State, he also had offers from programs including Cincinnati and Xavier among others. He is rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports and projects as one of the best players in the state.
This is Ohio State’s first pickup in the 2022 recruiting cycle. Hardman should join what project as a really solid 2020 and 2021 classes, though. Both classes have some talent and the Buckeyes also added some nice transfer pieces as well.
Holtmann and his staff still have their work cut out for the 2021 class, but Buckeye fans have to be excited about bringing Hardman into the fold.
