The Ohio State Buckeyes got some big news this week as forward Kaleb Wesson announced he would be declaring for the 2020 NBA Draft. And while Wesson still has time to remove his name and return to school, this announcement and his departure could be a big shift for the Buckeyes moving forward.
After an all-Big Ten season, Kaleb Wesson will explore his NBA draft options. But how does the uncertainty around the NBA draft process impact his decision? Here's the latest on the #Buckeyes junior with a big choice to make: https://t.co/jNSpR75iJ7

During his three seasons with the program, Wesson was a huge contributor for Ohio State. He’s led the team offensively in each of the last two seasons and averaged an impressive 14.0 points and 9.3 rebounds per game last year. Wesson also improved from deep, hitting 42.5 percent from three-point percentage.
Wesson’s decision will have a substantial impact on how next year’s Ohio State team looks. Should Wesson return, Ohio State could be poised to be a top 10 unit. The Buckeyes have a ton of depth upfront, improved talent, and are added some nice pieces. Having an All-Big Ten caliber player like Wesson would go a long way. Should Wesson leave, there will be a lot of uncertainty about how the team performs without its best player.
Obviously, fans are hoping Wesson returns to campus. They will have to hold on for a few weeks to see what ends up happening.
