Eight Big Ten Players Make SBNation's Top 50 Players List

SBNation released its rankings of the Top 50 players nationally. The Big Ten was well represented.

Earlier this week, SBNation released its list of the top 50 players for the 2019-’20 season and the Big Ten was fortunate enough to land a number of players on the list. Although no Big Ten player ended up topping the list, the conference was heavily represented.

With all that said, here’s where the Big Ten landed.

Big Ten Players On SBNation's Top 50 Player List

  • No. 3 - Cassius Winston (Michigan State)
  • No. 7 - Luka Garza (Iowa)
  • No. 10 - Jalen Smith (Maryland)
  • No. 14 - Xavier Tillman (Michigan State)
  • No. 16 - Daniel Oturu (Minnesota)
  • No. 26 - Ayo Dosunmu (Illinois)
  • No. 36 - Lamar Stevens (Penn State)
  • No. 45 - Kaleb Wesson (Ohio State)

It’s hard to disagree with any of the inclusions above. All eight of these players had fantastic seasons and were included in plenty of player of the year discussions. Putting Winston over Garza and Tillman over Oturu were bold moves, but all certainly had great years.

So what are your thoughts? Do you agree with these rankings?
