Iowa junior Cordell Pemsl is suspended for Thursday’s game at Indiana for a “UI Student-Athlete Code of Conduct” violation.
According to local reports out of Iowa City, Pemsl was arrested near 1 am on Monday morning for driving while his license is revoked.
Pemsl has played in 22 games this season, averaging 12.2 minutes, 2.4 points, and 2.8 rebounds per game.
It is the second suspension for Pemsl this season. In September, Pemsl was arrested for an OWI and sat for the first two games of this season.
Pemsl will be eligible to return to the basketball court in Sunday’s game at Minnesota.
