The Michigan Wolverines got some tough news earlier this week as the program learned its Wednesday matchup with the North Carolina State Wolfpack would not be going forward as scheduled. Matt Norlander reported the cancellation was due to COVID-19 protocols.

This is one of a handful of Big Ten games that have officially been cancelled or postponed just a few weeks into the season. Michigan was hoping to get its first marquee win of the season on Wednesday against the Wolfpack. Unfortunately, that won’t be the case following this postponement. The Wolverines remain 4-0 and 16th nationally on KenPom.
Michigan will now purportedly get a few days off before resuming play against Penn State at home on Sunday. However, speculation is that the two schools will attempt to reschedule this one in the coming weeks. We will have to wait and see what happens.
BTPowerhouse will continue to post updates on this game as more is learned.
